Education policy affects every part of the learning experience, from access and equity to quality, funding, teacher development, institutional leadership, curriculum reform, accountability, and national development. Strong education systems need professionals who can understand policy challenges, interpret evidence, evaluate reforms, and contribute to decisions that improve outcomes for learners and institutions.

The MPhil Educational Policy offered through UCC eCampus is designed for professionals who want to build advanced research and policy expertise in education. This programme helps learners develop the ability to analyse education systems, evaluate policy decisions, conduct meaningful research, and support reform across schools, higher education institutions, government agencies, NGOs, and development organisations.

Through UCC eCampus, learners can study flexibly while continuing to work, engaging with academic materials, research support, online learning resources, scholarly discussions, assignments, and guided research activities through a structured digital learning environment.

1. National ID – Valid Ghana Card (for nationals) and Valid Passport (for international students). (A Refugee Identity Card, residence permit or UN travel document shall be be treated as National citizens (based on University’s discretion)
2. Official Degree and Transcripts in English. Applicants with qualifications (Degree/Transcript) not in English are required to give a translated version of their degree(s).
3. All foreign applicants should apply to the Ghana Tertiary Education Commission (GTEC) for the credential evaluation of their degree (This process should be completed by the Applicant)
4. Every applicant should submit proof of English proficiency from the last attended institution. 
5. Interview/Online Entrance Exam can be an on-demand additional requirement from university where applicable
